My niece and nephew took out a pedal boat but didn't enjoy it as much as they expected, they said the pedals were a bit rusty, hard to turn and noisy. Take sunscreen and hats - there's no shade to sit under and it's easy to get a bad sunburn in just 45 minutes. Sometimes the phone is busy, just keep trying. We had planned on going one day and I called right as they opened and they were already booked for the day, we were able to go the next day which worked out great. I recommend calling and making a reservation. The boat accommodates 10 which is how many we had in our group which basically made it a private tour, that was an unexpected surprise. He also took patiently took photos of our group and they turned out great. He answered all our questions and has a great sense of humor, you can tell he loves his job (and really, what's not to love). He also has great recommendations for things to do in the area. Capt Fabian knows all sorts of information about the different houses and the lake in general. The pontoon boat ride around Lake Harmony was a lot of fun.
